Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the DockBook mobile application (the "Service"), provided by Mundi Equity Group Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, which constitute a legal agreement between you and Mundi Equity Group Ltd.

2. Unofficial Status & Accuracy Disclaimer

DockBook is an unofficial, third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the BCMEA, ILWU, PMA, or any official maritime employer or union body.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use DockBook. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Mundi Equity Group Ltd. cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

5. Subscriptions (DockBook Pro)

Certain features require a "DockBook Pro" subscription. Where you subscribe affects how billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled.

5.1 Subscriptions purchased on iOS or Android

If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:

If you subscribe through dockbook.app, web subscriptions are processed by RevenueCat, Inc. as merchant of record. RevenueCat handles billing, applicable taxes (including Canadian GST/HST/PST where required), and the customer portal.

5.3 Cross-platform entitlements

An active DockBook Pro subscription entitles you to Pro features across all platforms (iOS, Android, and web) when signed in with the same account. You should not maintain duplicate active subscriptions across platforms; if duplicate active subscriptions are detected, you are responsible for cancelling the unwanted subscription on its respective platform.

DockBook allows users to post vessel photos, operational notes, and intelligence reports. We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful community.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Mundi Equity Group Ltd. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mundi Equity Group Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to:

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and posting a notice within the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, rather than in court, except where prohibited by law. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
