Common questions
Tap the shift to see its breakdown: base rate, differentials, overtime and holiday pay, line by line. Most differences come from the job picked, the start and end times, or your profile (local, board or classification). If it still looks wrong, email us the shift and the paystub line and we will check it against your agreement.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so they are managed there.
iPhone: Settings, tap your name, Subscriptions,
DockBook.
Android: Google Play, tap your
profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, DockBook.
Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
Open any Pro feature to bring up the upgrade screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple or Google account you paid with. If Pro still does not show, email us with the date of the purchase.
Refunds are handled by the store you paid through. On iPhone go to reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, open the order in Google Play and choose Request a refund.
Yes. Sign in with the same account on your phone, tablet or the web app and your shifts sync across all of them.
Open Reports & Data from the side menu to export your shifts and earnings to PDF or CSV.
Open the side menu, tap Edit on your profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and your data. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription, so cancel that first (see above).
No. DockBook is an independent app built by a longshoreman. It is not affiliated with any union, employer or employer association. Pay and pension figures are estimates, so always check them against your official paystub and plan statements.
